England defeated India by 26 runs in the third T20. In the third match of the T20 series played in Rajkot, the Indian team could only score 145 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, chasing 172.

Abhishek scored 24 runs, Tilak Verma 18 runs, Axar Patel 15 runs, captain Suryakumar Yadav 14 runs, Mohammed Shami 6 runs, Washington Sundar 6 runs, Sanju Samson 3 runs and Dhruv Jurel 2 runs were out. Varun Chakravarti remained not out after scoring 5 runs while Ravi Bishnoi remained unbeaten on 1 run.
For England, Jamie Overton took 3 wickets. Brydon Carse and Jofra Archer took 2 wickets each, while Adil Rashid and Mark Wood took 1 wicket each. Earlier, England, batting first at the invitation of India, scored 171 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Opener Ben Duckett was outstanding with 51 runs. Liam Livingston 43, captain Jos Buttler 24, Harry Brook 8, Jamie Smith 6, Phil Salt 5, Brydon Carse 3 while Jofra Archer and Jamie Overton were out without scoring any runs. For India, Varun Chakravarthy took 5 wickets, Hardik Pandya took 1 wicket each, while Axar Patel and Ravi Mashnoi took 1 wicket each. India has a 1-2 lead in the series.
